Womans Self Defense  10/23/10  (10:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
Martial Arts & Me will be providing Basic Street Surival Part I, a 4 hour Womans Self Defense Course. This seminar has grown in popularity and is thee most well rounded and realstic program found in Fulton County. It has been provided throughout NYS and for large corporationsas well. This program is guaranteed to raise the level of awareness and provide its participants with facts and statistics, principles & strategies, techniques and the tools necessary to to ensure self preservation. These techniques are designed for the for main target on the body and have been proven to be effective. They do not require strength or years of training rather an mere understanding of how to apply them. Participants will learn the proper way to apply effective hand and foot techniques in the air and on pads. Once participants have reached a certain level they will then be provided the opportunty to apply what they have learn in a series of controlled but realistic role plays, scenarios and drills against a fully padded assailant. There is only one way to know how you will handle a dangerous or potentially life threatening situation and that is to step outside your comfort zone. In todays ever changing society and with crimes against woman on the rise, this program is a must for anyone who has ever had any reservations or doubt in there ability to protect themselves.
